Lessons
There are a variety of lesson options: private, semi-private
or group lessons. All lessons take place at Saddle Ridge
Farm in Loveland, Colorado. A $10 trailer-in fee is requested.
Private lessons are 45 minutes to 1 hour. Semi-private lessons are 1
hour. Group lessons generally last 1 hour, but depending on group size
the lesson may go over an hour. Rates available upon request.
Training
It is my pleasure to accept horses into full or partial training. All
training horses must be boarded at Saddle Ridge Farm. Board rates
available upon request. Full training includes 4-5 sessions per week
and partial training includes 2-3 sessions per week. Generally I will
tailor a training
program for you and your horse; it may
include groundwork, free jumping, lessons, dressage rides, and trail rides.
Judging
In 2006, I passed the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Learner
judge program with distinction. This allows me to judge schooling
shows and Rocky Mountain Dressage Society Shows. I am also available
to judge ride-a-tests. Rates available upon request.
Shows
For riders interested in private coaching at horse shows, please call me for more
information and to check dates in advance. Travel fees may
apply depending on location.
Clinics
Throughout the year I give dressage clinics, "ride-a-test" clinics, natural horsemanship
training and more. Please call me to check dates for your event! In general, a minimum of 5 horses/riders is required.
(The maximum number of horses and riders can be determined based on how many
group lessons versus private lessons will be taught.) I am also available for public speaking or consultations regarding equine
nutrition or simplifying dressage competitions. Rates
available upon request. Travel fees will apply.
Writing
Occasionally I write freelance articles for magazines, thanks to my
educational background in journalism! I am available for writing
articles, copy writing, etc. Please contact me for more information.
